This meat probe sensor is a temperature-sensing device that inserts into food while it cooks in the oven, allowing the oven to monitor the internal temperature and automatically stop cooking when the target temperature is reached. It connects to a jack inside the oven cavity via a heat-resistant cable. Replace this probe if your oven no longer reads the food temperature accurately, displays a probe error code, or if the cable or tip is visibly damaged.
