Genuine Bosch part
By: Bosch
Part Number: 00486768

The Oven Door Gasket Kit is an OEM replacement part for 27" Bosch wall ovens. It includes a gasket for insulating the oven cavity while in use and clips to secure it. • Door locking difficulties
  • visible cracks or tears in the gasket materials

Replacing the gasket allows for smooth door movement and an tight seal when closed. This Bosch part can also be used on Thermador and Gaggenau appliances.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You F24 error code   Kurt T. • Naperville , IL • April 08, 2015

Replaced the display board and put in a new gasket to prevent the heat from escaping the oven and eventually "cooking" the display board. New parts worked perfectly and were easy to install, just had to keep track of a few screws and cables, nothing to it otherwise. Shipping was insanely fast- I ordered on a Friday afternoon, chose their standard shipping, and my parts were delivered the next day- Saturday morning- by 9am. My oven was working again by 10am. Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Broil element had gone bad due to age and use   Sherwood O. • Orange , CA • August 22, 2015

This turned out to be a very complicated repair ONLY because the wires that attached to the very far end of the broil element came detached inside and behind the wall of the oven. It is one step this side of impossible to fish the wires out and reconnect them to the new element. This would be a very easy job PROVIDED that you do not allow the two wires that connect to the element to become detached inside the rear oven wall. Read more
