This governor arm assembly can be used as a replacement part for hedge trimmers, string trimmers, lawnmowers, or chipper shredders. The governor arm assembly is a connecting part within the governor system; it contains the governor arm and the components that fasten the governor arm to the governor spring and the throttle linkage.Governor arms can be subject to damage in the form of erosion, piercing, puncturing, or general wear and tear. Damage to a governor arm can affect the functionality of the entire governor system, which could render equipment nonfunctional. If the governor arm or its fastener parts are damaged, a governor arm assembly should be ordered, and the damaged or broken parts should be removed. Remember to always wear gloves when handling, repairing, and operating outdoor equipment. This governor arm assembly is a genuine OEM part sourced from MTD. It is sold individually. It is compatible with the following brands: MTD, Cub Cadet, Craftsman, and Yard Machines.

This is an engine brake cover plate that is used with many models of lawn and garden equipment. The brake plate comes in black and is made of durable materials. This protective component works with the brake system to prevent damage to other important parts of the equipment. The part is located behind the brake shoes and the wheel cylinder is mounted on it. This component also keeps dust and debris off of the brakes so cleaning will need to be done on a regular basis. The engine brake cover plate can be seen when the user pushes down on the brake pedal. This creates pressure from the hydraulic fluid located in the brake lines. Friction from normal use can cause it to wear out over time. If the damage is serious, the old engine brake cover should be removed to install a new one. Basic tools and work gloves will be needed. This is a genuine OEM replacement part that is sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is sold as an individual component. The engine break cover plate is designed to be compatible with wood chippers, tillers, and log splitters manufactured by Cub Cadet and MTD.

This genuine OEM replacement friction disc wheel is designed to fit a wide range of snowblower engines. A friction wheel attaches to the friction disc of a friction drive transmission. This style of transmission is common to many lawn appliances. Rather than relying on chains or sprockets, a friction wheel transmission uses two rotating wheels to drive the axle. If one wheel is damaged, the transmission will seize up, and the engine will not run. Over time, friction plates will wear down through repeated use, and the transmission will eventually give out. Signs of a failed transmission include noticeable vibrations, poor engine performance, out-of-place revving, and a slipping engine. Replacing the friction disc will require a socket wrench to remove the wheel and hex shaft, as well as a pair of pliers to pry away any clips securing those parts into place. Be sure not to lose any of these small components, as they are needed for reassembly. Before starting any repair, be sure to drain any fuel from the appliance. This part is compatible with Murray, Snapper, and Simplicity snowblowers and is sourced from the original manufacturer. As a top of the line replacement part, it ships individually.
