Leon F Sylmar , CA November 11, 2015 Appliance: KitchenAid Dishwasher KUDI24SEBL2 Loud dishwasher producing dirty dishes I nearly shelled out for a new Kitchenaid when I remembered APP and entered my model # just for fun. The interactive diagrams and install videos showed where all the parts "should" be, mine were badly disintegrated, so I replaced the damaged ones and swapped out all of the other easily accessible seals and bearings (also gave it a good and very disturbing cleaning). My parts surprisingly arrived next day and for about $40, the dishwasher is quiet and works like new again. Samuel M Sudbury , MA January 12, 2016 Appliance: Model KUDM35SHBL1 Leaks from around the door and from the pump motor 1. To fix the leaks from around the door, I replaced the upper and lower door seals. These were purchased in a separate transcation, so they are not the parts shown here. The upper door seal worked as intended, but the lower seal would not stay in place on the lower edge of the door during a wash. Therefore I cleaned the grease and detergent off the old seal, and installed using silicone sealer/adhesive. The plastic edge pieces for the lower seal were supplied with the kit, and they installed and worked correctly. 2. The parts shown here are gaskets, o-rings, and a tool for the pump and motor assembly. They installed and worked correctly, but the seal kit (Whirlpool # 675703) includes seal rings 302711 & 302710. The website should warn the customer if he is separately ordering redundant parts that are included in a kit. 3. The new o-ring for the discharge check valve (# 357574), did not stop the leak ffrom the joint with the pump body, so I coated the trheads with automotive silicone sealer (RTV) to solve that problem 4. I found videos on YouTube with clear replacement isntructions. 5. Note that the "screwdrivers" listed below are actual Torx driver. For my dishwasher, a 15 mm Torx driver was required. Patrick R Peachtree City , GA November 15, 2014 Appliance: KitchenAid Dishwasher KUDS25SHBS1 Leaking around dishwasher door previous repair missing parts I ordered new seals from AppliancePartsPros.com. Finding the right seals was very easy, all based on model number of the appliance. While looking my unit over for other signs of wear, I noticed that a repair done by the prior homeowner to the lower wash arm was done improperly: a seal there was set protruding from the cover, the cover was missing screws, and the arm was missing the upper bushing. So I ordered a new seal, the missing screws, and both the top and bottom bushings (just to be safe). Parts arrived THE NEXT DAY. Superb! Repaired everything in about 15 minutes. Everything fit perfectly. No more leak. Read More... 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
Michael K Oakland , MI July 11, 2019 My dishwasher was leaking out copious amounts of water while cycling While at my sister's house, she showed me how to access & dismantle the housing unit on her dishwasher, thinking the issue might be from that area. So, when I came home, I opened up my housing unit and found that several of the screws had come out and the pump outlet seal was stretched out and partially outside of the unit itself. I located all of the missing screws & discovered I was still missing one, which my husband helped me order with the pump outlet seal. I easily replaced the old seal with the new one and replaced all of the screws. I was pleased as punch that it works like a charm, that we saved lots of money on a repair call, and that I was able to do it easily!
