Motor shaft was stripped, replaced with new shaft from Motor Seal Kit. Impeller was also cracked, so replaced it as well. I did run in to a small problem, the chopper blade was pressing against the metal grate on the piece that goes back over the motor seal. I spent about an hour messing with it, but thought maybe once it's all together it'll be fine. When you screw the impeller on, it pushes down the seals, which pushes down the chopper blade. Used the vinyl touch up paint on the tops of posts and slid vinyl tips over 130 posts. The paint acts as an adhesive to keep the tips secure. Read more

Went on internet, found a great site and learned that the cold water hose filter was very much clogged at the machine intake. Cleaned it and voila. Ordered an extra filter from Appliance Pros.com and literally was amazed that it arrive within 2 days of my internet order. Great efficiency and customer service….great experience. I first installed the inlet pump with no results. I then ordered a Control Switch and Float and Nut. This fixed the problem. Everything comes out so clean. I also replaced the filter which allowed me to clean debris around old filter. It is also easier to replace all these parts with the dishwasher pulled out and tilted on its side. I had to pull mine out to unplug power to the dishwasher. Read more

Number one was turn the power to the dishwasher off. I disconnected the hoses under the sink. The dishwasher had to be pulled out from the cabinet. The old heating element easily came out and the new one put in its place. The instructional video made the repair very easy. Read more
