Purchased door springs from Appliance Parts pros.com, installed them and door on our Dishwasher was back to normal, Had to pull out dishwasher from under cupboard to get to springs, as they were on the sides of the dishwasher. Read more

• Will not dispense detergent

I found the videos on dishwasher repair that AppliancePartsPros offers and determined the likely cause of the problem. I removed the door cover and found soap caked on the back. I cleaned the cover and switched the wax motors to see if the clean rinse motor was good and ran a tested cycle. No improvement. I ordered two new wax motors for the Maytag dishwasher and those arrived in a few days from AppliancePartsPros. I replaced the old motors and ran a test cycle. The soap tray opened correctly.... Looked online, appeared to be door switch or control panel. Tried door switch first, a $30 part. Installed new door switch and washer started right up and appears to be fixed. Have not tried full wash cycle yet, but problem appears to be fixed. A couple of missing wheels on the lower tray and broken pivots and latches had made our dishwasher inconvenient to use. I had replaced those parts earlier using this website. A tine row pivot broke recently. As you'd expect, it's easy to snap in a new one. Dishwasher is old enough that some parts are prone to breaking. The extra parts are spares. Read more

• Leaking

I ordered a new rubber door seal for around door, new bottom door seal and spinner impeller and nut to hold on bottom arm as it looked weak. Everything worked great except bottom door seal which looks slightly different and would NOT stay on. I ended up putting back on the old one. Door doesnt leak but not sure it would even be worth it sending part back as I already tossed bag out. Other parts worked great and DW cleaning better. Read more

After googling the symptoms I determined that the control board was the problem. The original control board had been discontinued, but there was a current equivalent board. AppliancePartsPros.com had the best price online so I placed the order. It was shipped the next business day and was delivered the day after!
