Replacement idler pulley that maintains tension on the drive belt. Install when the original is worn, cracked, or seized, causing belt slippage or noise.
Decided to order the kit with both rollers even thou the right one looked OK.Also ordered the pulley for the idler. Spring-loaded belt tensioner that keeps the drive belt properly tightened. Replace if worn, seized, cracked, or causing squealing to restore smooth operation.
Un plugged dryer. It was an easy fix, popped the top up. Removed the two screw that held the front on and also unclipped the door switch. Released tension that was on belt and removed drum. Removed old front slides cleaned up area and replaced them. Popped the ring that held the rear drum wheels and placed the new ones with a dab of grease. This assembly includes the roller shaft and rear support bracket that holds a drum support roller in place inside the dryer. It allows the drum to rotate smoothly on its rear support rollers. Replace this part if the dryer is making squealing, thumping, or rumbling noises, or if the existing shaft is worn, bent, or seized.

The cylinder roller that supports the dryer drum was worn and needed to be replaced. I ordered the idler pulley shaft and associated parts as well since I wasn't sure if these were worn too. Watching the video on the web site gave me a good idea what was involved and where to look. It wasn't my exact model and make but provided sufficient information on what to look for. The parts were exact fits which was a great relief abd the dryer is running like new again! Read more
