Replaced module: Although the new module was slightly different due to a third or ground terminal that was not on the original I managed to figured out that I did not need to worry about the ground since the existing wiring had already allowed for the connection. This spark module generates the electrical pulses sent to the spark electrodes at each burner to ignite the gas. It is activated when a burner knob is turned to the ignite position. Replace this module if one or more burners fail to spark, spark continuously without stopping, or if you hear clicking but get no ignition.

Began by replacing the burner and igniter assemblies. Learned that was not the solution. Proceeded with further diagnosing. Consulted online resources, such as Maytag website, and discovered that the two likely causes were either the spark module or wiring harness. Ordered both parts, and replaced inside of the oven.
