I knew the door latch was suppose to lock for self clean and it wasn't, so I took the back off and after tracing out wires and the linkage to the door latch, determined that it was a faulty motor on the latch lock. I got on line and Appliance Parts Pros was the first place that I found the part. This door strike is the catch the latch engages to hold the oven door closed. It restores a firm, aligned close so heat stays in and the appliance can detect a fully shut door for normal operation.
