Mike S for Model Number WTW6500WW1 My Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine is leaking under the tub. When I look under the washing machine while it is operating I see water dripping from what I think is called the rotor. There was no water dripping while it was filling but starting leaking all around the rotor it went into wash cycle. The washer and dryer is in a confined space and before I take them out to inspect I was wondering if the leak is actually the rotor or something above the rotor.
Answer Mike, This issue would be caused by a faulty tub seal. In order to get the tub seal for this unit you would either have to purchase the outer tub W10193886 or the bearing kit W10435302 and the tool to remove the bearing kit W10447783. Read More...
