This drum is the rotating tub that holds clothes and provides the tumbling action needed for cleaning or drying. It restores the drum surface and rotation area to help the appliance tumble items properly. What it does:

The Timer Knob is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool dryers. It allows users to set cycle durations with smooth, intuitive adjustment.

Causes of a bad timer knob can include loose or stripped internal gears from an extended operation or impact damage during loading/unloading clothes.

This idler spring maintains proper tension on the dryer drum belt by keeping the idler pulley engaged. Replacing a weak or broken spring restores consistent drum rotation and helps prevent belt slippage and squealing during operation.
