How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6005965 / WP2180226 Control Bracket

I replace the bracket that holds the swithch and it works perfect. About 30 minutes start to finish. 

Purchased a new one. 

By following your fantastic diagnostic videos and your installation video. It was like having a repair man in my house. It took my wife and I about 10 minutes to replace the bracket and it's dispensing ice again. We used a putty knife to get the control cover off, unsnapped everything and switched out the bracket. Couldn't have done it without your videos. Thank you for the great service, price and fast shipping.

Replaced the holding bracket for the switches to dispense water. The old bracket had broken tabs that no longer held the switch in place. Installing a new bracket and installing the switches on the new bracket fixed the problem. 

Researched parts on site, identified correct parts and ordered them. Watched videos associated with each part. Parts received as advertised and repair went as video suggested. 

I removed the cover panel and followed the instructions provided in the AppliancePartsPros repair video. It was very simple and just as easy for me as in the video. My wife was impressed with my skills. 

I went to the Appliance Parts Pros site and found a great video on how to fix it and there was a link to order the part. Part arrived the next day and it took about 10 minutes to fix. Couldn’t have been any easier! 

Watched the video from APP. Opened front of refrigerator, saw what parts were missing, broken and epoxied in then ordered parts. Parts came in 2 days, installed and refrigerator now dispenses ice. 

Replaced plastic bracket that holds micro switches that dispense water and ice that was broken.
