How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6011209 / WP74010750 Electric Range Oven Bake Element

Turned off breaker for electric range. Removed oven racks. Removed two screws. Disconnected old element connectors, taking care that wires did not spring back through the holes in the back of the oven panel. Conneced new element. Inserted screws, tightened. Replaced oven racks. Turned breaker back on. Heated element to test. Good as new! 

Took out the two screws holding the element in and unplug the wires and one of them popped inside so I had to use a pair of needle-nose pliers to pull it back out love them and put the put it back in put the screws in and I'm five minutes my stove was up and running again thanks it was great 

We ordered the element from appliance parts pros and it arrived in no time! We popped the door off the oven for convenience and removed the screws that held on the old element. We detached the old one, plugged the new one in and put the screws back in. Then we put the door back on. It works perfectly! The oven bakes more evenly than it ever did before. 

I followed instructions from your site and replaced the element. Unfortunately, the caution you gave about losing a lead if it popped off proved to be correct. I had to slide the stove out and take a cover plate off to access the wire and push it out through the hole in the back of the oven. It took longer but in the end it was a success. 

Ordered the lower heating element and replaced it. Ordered exact replacement part and replaced it. within about 10 minutes. Works great. 

Bought a replacement part, watched video of how to replace, found replacement part on front step. Your shipping was fantastic! Replaced part. Took 15 min. Easy and is working great! 

Removed the oven bake element that was bad and installed the replacement element. and in the other oven slid the new rack into place. Replacement parts were exactly as shown on the website. The cross reference to the stoves model # was exactly right. It was nice getting the correct parts on the first try and receipt of the order was very fast. 

Replaced coil. Remove back panel, remove two wire connectors. Remove front door. then remove two screws holding the heat element. Reverse process to install new. 15 minutes. Flashlight helped see inside oven. 

The part was easy to find and order, and within 2 days it had arrived. After watching the repair video posted on the part page, I was able to install it quickly. I had to use pliers to hold onto the wire so it wouldn't fall back inside. I'm so glad the video said to watch out for that. My oven has been working great ever since. 

I unscrewed two screws and replaced element, took all of five minutes. Easy fix!
