Ordered part and once I got the part it took less than 15 minutes to put it in and close up the back. Hardest part of the whole experience was cleaning up the oven. Process went as follows:
1) Find part on Appliance PartsPros, which was easy since I had the model number of my oven.
2) Order part and wait for delivery, which in my case was a mere 2 days
3) Remove 8 screws from the back
4) Removed the oven door for easier access to clean the oven & to screw in the new element. Door just pulls off no screws or bolts to mess with
5) Once cleaned, installing the element consisted of 2 screws at the back of the oven thus the reason I removed the door.
6) Connected wires in the back to the element.
7) Replaced back of oven, 8 screws. This was the part that was somewhat of a pain since just like everything else nowadays they cut the back panel as short as they could since I know the metal back did NOT shrink after I removed it. Getting the screw holes to line up and the metal backing to lay flush was the hardest part.
8) Push it back in and plugged it back in.
9) Put the door back on and good to go!
(I did leave out the fact that it took about 6 hours to clean the glass on the oven door :). Take my advise and try to make it a habit to keep your oven's window clean cause it took a lot of work with a paint scraper to get the junk off it.)
