How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6013694 / WP9704230 Blender Drive Coupler

Self repair, instructions and video excellent. 

Watched video, ordered part, and repaired in less than 10 minutes. 

Found good information on your website, including instructional video detailing how to repair. The only problem was that my blender model # wasn't listed. (It's about 10 years old) Terry L in Customer Service researched it, found the right part, and I received it in only one day! I'm very relieved that it was only an inexpensive part and a few minutes of my time to repair, instead of having to buy a new blender. Outstanding customer service, low price, super-fast shipping... couldn't be happier! 

My son googled a video. Popped it off (it's not easy to get off, she use some force). New one came and my other son put it on. Very easy fix and saved having to toss a perfectly good and expensive kitchen aide blender. 

I used a prying motion with a screwdriver, turning the coupler in a clockwise direction. 

Ordered the replacement part, was pleased it arrived the NEXT day. Replaced the part in less than 5 minutes and used the blender. We make a lot of smoothies in the summer and were pleased we basically had uninterrupted use due to the quick order fulfillment and shipping. Thanks!

I then searched for repairs & found, appliance pros.com. I found a part that fit for even less, less than $5.00! & it arrived the next day. I am sending the return back for a full refund. I love appliance pros!
