How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6013694 / WP9704230 Blender Drive Coupler

Removed the old one and put in the new one.

Removed old coupler, ordered part from you (very easy to find correct part and order) put new part on when I received part. Super easy. Just need screw driver and rubber mallet. 

Watched the video and easily removed the broken coupler. Ordered a new coupler. Instructions identical to those of the video were included with the new coupler. Installed the new coupler simply by screwing it onto the shaft and running the blender, with the glass container installed, for a few seconds. 

Got the part number from Kitchen Aid and googled it to find you guys. Found the part, ordered and received promptly with instructions! 5 minute fix. Outstanding!! 

I purchased a new coupler from AppliancePartsPros.com. 

I ordered a new drive coupler and installed it without a problem. I don't think this was actually the main issue, though, as I can hear the new drive coupler grinding against the metal thing attached to the blade it's supposed to be turning above and the metal gets hot, indicating the drive coupler is rubbing against it. I ordered some lubricant to see whether I could get the metal thing to turn more easily. 

The coupler drive teeth on my 15+ years old mixer were chipped and breaking apart. After watching the video on how to replace the coupler drive, I decided to order a replacement coupler drive and replace myself. The process of replacing the coupler drive was extremely easy and clearly demonstrated in the video. I’m happy to have an operational mixer once again. 

I went to your website and watched the video on how to take off and replace worn part. 

I looked up the part appliance parts pros.com website. They had a video of how to replace the drive coupler on my KitchenAid blender. The video was a big help and removal of the broken drive coupler was easy Peezy after watching the video.Once the part arrived it was a very easy process to install the new part just as they showed in the video.
