This is a foam pad rests next to the oil outlet pipe on several types of lawn and garden equipment. It acts as insulation and can prevent excess vibrations while the equipment is in use. Over time, this foam pad can start to break down, rip, or become damaged and may need to be replaced. Replacing the foam pad on a chainsaw or other machine will require a wrench. The equipment will need to be disassembled so that there is access to the foam pad and the oil outlet pipe. The old component can be removed and the new one can be installed in the same location. Once the part is installed, reassemble the other components before using the tool again.
