I looked up and ordered a new display panel. Since it was not showing anything I was hoping something on the board just failed. When I got the new part I plugged it in and it has been working fine since. I wish I could have found some trouble shooting options for this type of problem but I could not find anything related to a blank display. Like I said fortunately the new panel worked. Easy to replace, remove front control panel to get at all inside parts, the range is screwed together, look at the parts diagram to see how it was assembled, unplug old switch and install new one.Youtube has many DIY videos to review before you start..... Read more

I ordered a new longer griddle burner and burner cover, then just simply removed two screws from the small center burner and dropped the larger on in it's place. Very easy switch out and was very happy with the result. Very easy and worth while upgrade. Read more

My induction slide-in range was getting an E15 error code. First thing to do is look in the service manual, which should be in a plastic pocket at the back of the oven. I eventually did do that, but first I googled it. First, power cycle the stove, i.e. turn off the breaker, wait a minute, then turn it back on. That fixed it for a few months, but then it started doing it again, except now it only took a minute for the oven to beep E15 after turning the breaker back on. The service manual... Read more

Very carefully. The official Frigidaire repairman's quote was $250, despite my already removing the door. I complained to the companies customer service answering machine that this is about 40% of the cost of a new stove. The quote was unreasonably high since it appeared that a trained monkey could replace the glass in about 15 minutes. It took this trained monkey about 30 minutes to replace the glass.
