I had to pull and clean the pressure sensor switch four times in a year. Each time more gunk accumulated. When that happens the sensor does not close the water valve. The dishawsher keeps filling and the water comes out through the overfill port. The water then goes in the catch basin under the washer and floats the emergency switch. This cuts off the water but keeps the pump running just in case. Tripping the circuit breaker is only a temp fix. What happens is the water level may have gone down a little and released the cutoff switch. When you turn it back on the whole system resets. But the problem is not fixed. You have to replace the pressure sensor. The new setup is improved. Gunk can,t get in the sensor any more. Spend the $60 bucks and fix it right.
