Edward J Hendersonville , TN July 08, 2015 Appliance: General Electric Dishwasher GHDA670N20BB My ge (adore; no longer made by ge) dishwasher motor had a dead spot and would not engage unless the fan blades were manually turned I ordered a new motor through ApplianceParts Pros.com and had the new part within 5 days. The entire replacement took approximately 1 1/2 - 2 hours. The repair was relatively simple and straight forward. By doing the work myself I saved over $250. Originally a GE technician quoted a price of $489 to replace the motor to repair the dishwasher. For that price I could have bought a new dishwasher (Electronix Express $491) but not with all the features of my current appliance. By doing the repair/replacement myself I saved over $250! Cole R San Francisco , CA September 28, 2015 Seized motor/pump in my ge dishwasher Found the part on APP, arrived in 2 days with standard shipping, turned of water and disconnected water supply, pulled the machine out of its hole and tipped over and lent at 50 degrees against kitchen cabinetry. Placed a large tray underneath to catch the water and removed hose clips, wiring and wire mount strut until motor was free. New motor and pump fitted perfectly, assembled, put it back in its hole and test run with a leak test at the the end. Worked perfectly, repair man wanted $270 for the part, APP supplied for $200, repair guy estimated $180 to install, so $250 saving, more money for beer!
