This is a light bu, and it is made for microwaves. This is a genuine replacement part made by General Electric. This specific light bu has a voltage of 120 and a wattage of 25.A new light bu might be needed if the current one does not turn on when the microwave door is opened. The light bu should also be on when the microwave is in use so that the user may see the food during the heating cycle.
