When the primer bulb is pressed, it moves all of the air located inside of the carburetor so that the chambers can be filled with fuel. Any excess fuel will then be forced back to the tank using the return pipe. After time and use, the return pipe can start to crack and become brittle and will need to be replaced.If the return pipe is no longer working correctly, a new replacement part will need to be installed. First, drain the gas from the tool and disconnect the spark plug wire. The fuel lines and fuel tank should then be taken off of the carburetor. Remove the fuel line, vent, and check valve. Next, take off the old return pipe and install the new one before refilling the equipment with fuel.This return pipe is an authentic OEM replacement part that is sourced directly from the manufacturer. This fuel pipe is one of two that regulates the flow of gasoline from the fuel assembly to the engine and dispenses overflow back to the tank.It comes into operation when pressing the fuel bulb overfills the carburetor.
