An online search of the problem (would not agitate or spin) indicated a bad lid switch. Then with model number was able to find an online video on how to change it. Fix washer overfilling or not filling properly. This pressure switch controls water level for proper washing. DIY-friendly, takes about 5-10 minutes.
I thought initially it was a hose because it was leaking water from the bottom. On the small and medium load it didn't leak. I watched it on the large setting and noticed the water didn't shut off initially so therefore it was over filling. I ordered a switch pressure switch from Appliance Parts Pros and received it in two days. I replaced the switch, put the washer together and now it works like new. The wife is very happy to have her washer back working better than ever! Thanks! Jerry Read more
