This is a wheel and bracket assembly that mounts to the bottom of a dishwasher dishrack, allowing it to slide in and out smoothly on the track. The roller supports the weight of the loaded rack and reduces friction during movement. Replace this assembly if the dishrack is difficult to slide, sits unevenly, or if the roller is cracked, worn, or no longer spins freely.
Ordered new wheel assembly, which came in about a day and a half. The broken assembly was on the left front so I only had to slide the dishwasher out just enough to expose the two mounting screws on the outside of machine.When you remove the old assm there are two rubber washers on the back side. The video on AppliancePartsPro is not for the part I ordered. After searching a bit I learned that I needed a 3/16" hex driver to remove the two screws that hold the assembly to the washer. After that it was easy. Just remove the two screws, take off the old one and attach the new one. Easy. Read more
