Ikea Dishwasher Spring Parts

Found the end of the right-side Door Spring that connects to the Door Cable broke off and the plastic end of the Door Cable that connects to the Door Spring was also broken off. Took cover completely off and tried putting back, could not match up left screw with available screw hole. Tried many different configurations and sequences to make this happen. watched a video on changing the front panel, the door in it had four screws, mine 2, no help there. Searched on the hyperextending issue, found an article about dogs and kids [had both here] climbing on the door and to check the springs and linkages. Purchased door springs from Appliance Parts pros.com, installed them and door on our Dishwasher was back to normal, Had to pull out dishwasher from under cupboard to get to springs, as they were on the sides of the dishwasher. Read more
