I attempted to diagnose the four thermostats/thermal switches in the microwave....two right behind the control panel, one on top of the cooking cabin, and one under a metal shroud above the magnetron. While checking continuity with a voltmeter, i questioned one of them behind the control panel and the one above the magnetron. • Little to no heat when baking

I removed two screws at rear of oven, disconnected electrical connectors, and removed old element. When the new element arrived (on time), I connected the new element and replaced the two screws. The oven worked perfectly! The repair was extremely easy and cost effective. Read more

So I ordered the burner and Ithe switch because I wasn't sure what part was defective. I pulled the oven out and I removed the 6 1/4 inch screws on each side of the glass top as well as the 2 Phillips head screws on the back, removing the 2 1/4 screws on the shield on the back gIves you easier access to them, then lifted the glass top up on the front to access the switch and burners. SSVD48600Pon finally popped the control panel loose from the top of the stove. Took some manipulation as the stove is more than 20 yrs. old With a screwdriver finally popped the switch loose. Applied the new switch. Popped the top back to the control panel. Put the screws back in and everything was back to normal. Read more

I did some research on the internet to find the part I needed. I came upon your web site Applianceparts pros.com and watched you videos. After watching your video on how to replace the broiler element, I ordered the broiler element. It came in a few days. I replaced the broiler element with my 12 year old son's help (always use every opportunity to teach my kids) in 50 minutes. Plugged the oven and turned on the broiler. We recently purchased a house with Jenn-Air appliances. The previous owner had used something to clean the knobs on the stove that removed the imprint. Ordering these was easy, they fit with no problem and are manufacture initial product quality. Very Pleased. The only suggestion I would have is to provide instructions on how to install the oven door gasket. I have not attempted that yet but will soon. Read more

I disassembled the top of the range and looked at the problem burner. It looked like there was a spark at all three other burners but not the problem burner. There was a visible spark at the connector between the wiring harness and the ceramic igniter but that spark wasn't making it up to the top of the igniter where it can light the burner.
