I didn't realize I was getting both a refrigerator door handle and a freezer door handle in one set, but now we have the freezer handle if we need it. Removing the old handle and installing the replacement was very easy. It looks great, in fact the replacement is metal, whereas the original was plastic, so it looks better than it ever did!

Installation of the new handle after receiving a very timely shipment from appliance parts pros was simple. I lined up the top of the handle (hooked 90 degrees over the door) and then swung the handle down to meet the corresponding lower screw. The bottom slid and locked into place, then I screwed the top bolt in. Voila!

Checked compressor windings - ok. Start relay looked no rattle or burning. Start capacitor seamed ok but hard to check. No 120VC to start relay at any time. Ordered thermistor, and electronic control unit. Figuring it was a bad thermistor not telling the ECU it was warm and to turn on the compressor.
