Robert B Zachary , LA October 09, 2016 Appliance: Frigidaire Refrigerator LGHS2665KF1 Refrigerator was flooded in louisiana flood of 2016 Refrigerator is a Frigidaire Gallery Side by Side Model LGHS2665KF1. We got about 8 inches of water in the house during the flood and would not run. I knew the control board was underneath the front of the fridge as I had change it about a year ago. (At that time also had to change the user interface board on the front of the door). Anyway, since I knew the control board was wet, I decided to give it a try and order a new one. When it came in, I installed the new one in a few minutes, plugged in the fridge and everything worked. Started cooling and then stopped cooling. That's when I noticed the condenser fan was not running. Ordered a new fan motor. Installed it today and fridge is working perfectly!!!! For a couple hundred bucks, I saved a good $1000 fridge! Kristy H Brighton , MO February 04, 2025 Evaporator fan stopped working We dropped down the panel and swapped out the part. Longest part was unscrewing the panel and then putting it back. Very easy repair and we were under a significant time crunch as it was the freezer on our food truck. The shipping was extremely fast. Ordered on Friday and FedEx pulled up on Saturday with all but one part, which was received Monday. We didn't end up needing the part delivered Monday, but over-ordered because we weren't positive it was just the evaporator fan that was the culprit. Very happy with the speed of delivery.
