I finally decided to repair my dishwasher because the door would free fall to the floor possibly breaking the hinges. Also the top shelf was rolling out on its own every time the door was opened. 1. Googled "appliance replacement parts" - found two sites to consider 2. Researched parts needed via a exploded diagram - can't fix it if you can't name it. 3. AppliancePartsPros.com had the easiest diagram and after checking, the lowest price. 4. Parts showed up within a couple of days - an in-transit note was helpful. 5. The part screws in but watch out you don't break the tiny black pin holding the part on in addition to the screw. Needed JB Weld to fix that. Read more

Elderly neighbor charged $100 for factory tech to inform her that the part wasn't available anymore, so I ordered 2 from Appliance Parts Pros.com (one for a spare) and when they arrived a few days later, I installed then in about 20-25 minutes. I ordered the parts and they arrived in 2 days. While the parts were in transit, I watched the video concerning replacing the gasket holder. WHAT A LIFE-SAVER! From start to finish took less than 60 minutes!!! Note: I did take some water and ran it down the channel where the gasket goes to make it easier to slide onto the gasket. Read more

The left hinge works on the right side as well as the left. All you have to do is unscrew the little plastic post and move it to the other hole. So even though the web might say that the left hinge assembly is not compatible with your fridge, or that the right hinge assembly is no longer available, it will still work. This part was the perfect fix for my broken door hinge on my LG front loading dryer. I watched a video on YouTube of a hinge replacement of a similar front loading Samsung dryer. I needed a little help from my son holding the door glass and plastic in place while re-attaching the door to the hinge, but it was an easy repair. Read more

In analyzing my problem, I just couldn't believe the door stopper and hinge bushing were causing it. After digging around, there was just nothing else that could be causing my problem, so I ordered the parts and made the replacement. I was shocked at how this completely solved my problem. We scoured the web and there are few references to this so I want to add it in case it helps. Replacing hinges solved the popping opening issue. We could not solve our dishwasher door issue after a number of other tries: Latch, Catch, Ropes that attach to the springs that pull the door closed. I tend to believe the solve could be different b/c all these things work together. But for us, we were skeptical that the hinge swap would work and we were very pleasantly surprised. Read more
