This thermostat controls oven/dryer temperature by opening or closing its contacts as the appliance reaches set temperatures, helping maintain safe and consistent operation. Replaces a worn or failed thermostat to restore proper temperature regulation. What it does:
Secures microwave components to their mounting points. Replace this nut assembly if damaged, missing, or worn to prevent rattling and keep parts aligned.
This temperature thermistor is the sensor that lets the control board monitor and regulate appliance temperature for reliable cooling performance. Replacing a failing thermistor can restore proper temperature control and cycling. What it does:
Microwave not heating? This magnetron generates microwaves to heat food. Replacing a faulty magnetron restores heating and stops cooking failures.
This is a plastic fan blade that attaches to the ventilation motor inside the microwave. It circulates air to cool internal components and, in over-the-range models, helps vent steam and cooking odors. Replace this blade if it is cracked, broken, or wobbling, which can cause excessive noise or reduced ventilation performance.
The fan that cools the main unit had started making noise a few weeks ago, I tried cleaning and lubricating the bearings, but the fan would make noise when it heated up, then finally stopped. I replaced the fan, it was up and running within 20 minutes of receiving the parts. Read more
Microwave won't power up or shuts off after seconds? Failed thermostats cause intermittent operation. Test for continuity—straightforward repair.
Removed OTR microwave. Checked the thermostat switches while power was applied with a DVM. Noticed that when a certain set of wires was moved the slightest bit the microwave would power up. Traced the wires to the thermostat switch for the cavity. Noticed that where one (of two) Faston terminals was crimped to the thermostat switch was black. (should be copper colored). That is a sure sign of arcing from a loose connection. Since the specification for the switch was to trip at 248F degrees... Read more
Glass cover that sits over your microwave's cooktop surface. Replaces cracked, chipped, or broken covers to restore a smooth, protective finish.
Reduces electrical interference in your microwave. Mounts near the power supply. Replace if cracked, damaged, or causing blown fuses or failed operation.
I replaced the Control Panel Module and Noise Filter Board which restored my Kenmore Elite (Samsung) deluxe microwave oven back to full operation. Also replaced the Damper cover with a brand new one, along with the left-side cabinet bolt. I contacted AppliancePartsPros.com regarding the unused parts which were not needed, and I was very promptly provided a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Thus far the process has been smooth Laarand efficient, and the parts ordering, technical and... Read more
Replaces a damaged or oxidized noise filter assembly in your microwave. Includes fuse holders and mounting hardware. Order a new one if terminals are discolored.
Fix microwave overheating or won't heat issues with this thermostat temperature limiter. Regulates oven temperature and prevents overheating damage.
This fan motor assembly cools the magnetron inside the microwave by circulating air to prevent overheating during operation. It includes the motor and fan blade as a complete unit. Replace this assembly if the microwave shuts off unexpectedly due to overheating, makes unusual noises during use, or the fan is no longer spinning.
The microwave was shutting off after operating fine for a minute or two. Found that the fan that cools the magnetron had its fan blade assembly spinning free on the fan motor's output shaft. Tried to epoxy the two and failed. Ordered a new fan assembly and it is fixed. Read more
This is a truss-head tapping screw used to secure trim, panels, and small assemblies on compatible LG appliances. It provides a low-profile, wide-bearing head that helps hold parts flush and resist pull-through. What it does:
Replacement screw that secures panels, trim pieces, and mounting brackets on cooktops and ranges. Needed when screws are missing, stripped, or damaged.
When Microwaving food, the display panel would seem to act normal, but the typical microwave sound would be absent. No microwave action would occur. Eventually an F5 code would display. Problem was the upper door switch. Found it by opening up the cabinet, removing the display panel (1 screw and a couple of plugs) and testing all three micro switched with a meter. Two switches are for the door and one for some kind of ventilation flap. They are all in the same area. Go to YouTube to see... Read more
Factory mounting screw secures panels, brackets, and internal components in microwaves. Replace missing, stripped, or corroded screws to keep assemblies tight.
