A hi-limit safety switch that stops heating when temperatures get too high, protecting the appliance from overheating and helping prevent damage. Designed to replace a failed thermal cutoff to restore safe temperature control. What it does:
No local repair persons would tackle the jo. I checked all electrical contacts, voltages, etc, no problems. Contacted Appliancepartspros and discussed problem. they recommended new control board, power relay board, downdraft fan board, and high limit switch AFTER I had installed an oven temp sensor. Process of elimination with new parts FINALLY isolated the problem. Now working fine with ability to return not needed parts.Nadene Freeman was very helpful throughout the time consuming, while... This modulating thermostat controls oven temperature by cycling the heating element to maintain consistent cooking heat. It replaces a failed temperature regulator so your oven can reach and hold set temperatures more reliably. What it does:
One of the slip nuts was seized and was twisting the line when I turned it for removal. I was able to remove the other two lines and hold the nut with a wrench and spin the switch assembly in order to disconnect this line without damaging it. I attached the new switch with the same technique. I found it easier to remove the squeeze clips holding the oven temperature sensor (connected to the switch assembly) on the back wall for removal and replacement instead of attempting it reaching to the... A safety thermostat that monitors and limits temperature at the range/stove backguard to help prevent overheating. Replaces a failed safety limiter to restore proper temperature control and safety operation. What it does:
This oven thermostat regulates cavity temperature to the set point on your range. Replacing a worn thermostat restores accurate heating and proper cycling, helping resolve undercooked or overbaked results, long preheat times, and temperature drift.

This thermostat controls the Top Heat function by sensing oven temperature and cycling the heat to maintain your set point. It helps deliver consistent upper-heat performance for reliable cooking and broiling results.
Replaced thermostat. Biggest challenge was how to feed the thermostat from the back of the stove into the oven. I found the easiest way is to tie a string onto the existing thermostat in the oven before it is removed. When the existing thermostat is pulled out the back un-tie the string and tie it on the new thermostat then pull the string from in the oven to draw the new thermostat through the hole. Read more
This oven thermostat senses and regulates oven temperature so food cooks evenly and the range reaches set temperatures. It replaces a failed temperature control to restore accurate heating and cycle behavior. What it does:
I worked with Bud and he was most helpful. I was very happy with the service that was offered. I liked the quick shipment, good packing and only paying ONE time for shipping. I would recommend your company again and would ask to deal with Bud again. Thanks for you service. Read more
