This upper burner retainer secures the surface burner head and helps keep the burner aligned for even flame distribution and reliable ignition. It's a small replacement part that restores proper burner positioning. What it does:
Strain relief retainer secures electrical cables at the cooktop connection point. Replace if cracked, broken, or missing to protect wiring integrity.
Secures oven door glass panels in place. Replace if the retainer wire is bent, broken, or missing to prevent loose or rattling door glass during use.
