This genuine OEM part is a cooktop grill burner. The grill burner is the component part that allows the gas flame to spark so that the stove can perform its job of cooking and heating. If the stove burners are no longer producing a flame or not turning on at all, it might be time to replace the grill burner. Luckily this is a relatively simple repair.To start, make sure that all power to the stove has been turned off by either unplugging the appliance or shutting off the circuit breaker. Close the shut off valve on the propane gas tank. Remove the cooking grate and the flame tamer from the top of the damaged burner. Pull the cotter pin out of the back of the burner. Remove the burner mounting screws. Pull the burner back then up to remove it from the manifold and remove the burner. Place the new burner into the manifold and fasten the mounting screws.
