This microwave thermostat is a temperature-sensitive safety switch that helps protect the unit from overheating. When the preset limit is reached, it interrupts power to the affected circuit to help prevent damage and erratic shutdowns.
My daughter that she turned timer on but hit cook with nothing in the microwave. I was able to figure it was one of the four thermal cutoffs. It was obvious which one literally fried. Replaced that one worked like it was new. Took a lot of photos while dismantling and labeled the screws. Wasn't that hard just be careful of the capacitor Read more
Replaces the refrigerator temperature control thermostat to restore consistent cooling. This direct-replacement thermostat helps regulate compartment temperature so food stays at the set level and reduces temperature swings. What it does

This limit switch is a snap-action safety/position switch used in many cooking appliances. It opens or closes an electrical circuit when a mechanism reaches its limit, enabling safe operation and helping protect components when conditions aren't met.
This limit switch is a safety control for compatible cooking appliances. It opens or closes an electrical circuit when a preset limit is reached—commonly temperature or travel—helping protect components and ensure proper operation of heating and latch systems.
We purchased a part called Limit Switch from you. It totally corrected the problem. Read more
A replacement thermal (high-limit) fuse that restores the appliance's overheat protection by interrupting power if temperatures exceed safe limits. Use this part when the original fuse has opened or failed to protect the heating circuit. What it does:
This push-button replacement switch restores reliable user control for compatible Frigidaire appliances. It replaces a worn or failed control switch so buttons respond correctly and features return to normal operation. What it does:
This fuse and fuse holder assembly replaces the appliance's inline protective fuse and its mounting holder to restore proper overcurrent protection and reliable electrical connection. Use this part when a blown fuse or damaged holder interrupts power. What it does
A hi-limit safety switch that stops heating when temperatures get too high, protecting the appliance from overheating and helping prevent damage. Designed to replace a failed thermal cutoff to restore safe temperature control. What it does:
Started with checking temp control in the oven. Worked fine. Next was testing high limiter switch. Every place stated switch was on the back panel, found mine place under the right burner cartridge. Took some finagling to expose it. Bought a new one, two wires to disconnect along with two small screws to secure switch, slapped it in and I was in business. Oven that was out of commission for over two weeks (never buy a part from Sears, always deal with APP's!) was on the road again! Read more
This temperature control thermostat replaces the refrigerator's manual/mechanical control that cycles the compressor and fans to maintain set temperatures, helping restore consistent cooling. Simple, direct replacement for units using this style of controller. What it does:
A genuine-style refrigerator water filter cartridge that helps improve the taste and clarity of your drinking water by reducing common contaminants and particulates. Fits inline into the fridge's filter housing for regular water and ice use. What it does:
A safety thermostat that monitors and limits temperature at the range/stove backguard to help prevent overheating. Replaces a failed safety limiter to restore proper temperature control and safety operation. What it does:
This thermal cut-out is a temperature-sensing safety device that helps protect the refrigerator's defrost/heater circuit by opening the circuit when temperatures exceed safe levels. It prevents overheating and helps maintain normal defrost cycles. What it does:
The Fuse is an OEM part for GE microwaves. It serves as a safety device designed to protect the microwave from excessive current that can cause overheating and potential fire hazards. When the current flowing through the microwave circuit exceeds a certain level, the fuse blows or breaks, cutting off the power to prevent damage or fire.
Common causes for a fuse to blow include power surges, faulty wiring within the appliance, or the use of microwave inappropriate containers that cause sparks. It is essential to address these issues not only to replace the fuse but also to correct the underlying problems to prevent future failures.
Symptoms of a bad fuse include:
This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
I read on line about other such ovens doing the same thing mine was doing, absolutely nothing! I even read stories of a major retailer telling customers to throw the microwave away. There's nothing you can do to fix it. After replacing a simple fuse that I ordered from you, the Advantium is as good as new. It took a grand total of 5 minutes to make the repair. The shipping cost more than the part, but it was all very worthwhile. Read more
