1. I ordered a new burner. It didn't fix it. 2. I ordered a new burner switch. It didn't fix it. But still needed to be replaced because I cold see itt had burned out. 3. I checked the wires to the burner, then to the switch, they were all fine. I probably should have done this first. My last possible solution was the simmer switch board. Looked it up on you tube found two possible problems, eliminated oven sensor, left only mother board, replaced, very simple procedure, all working well now. Read more

Unplug oven! Remove the faceplate by pulling off knobs and removing 4 plastic nuts from burner switch knob stems. Then remove 6 (combination #2 square and Phillips) screws and remove the metal backing plate. Unscrew two small screws in front to remove the burner switch from the backing plate behind. Remove wire leads from tabs on the switch one at a time being sure to reconnect to the correctly labeled tab on the new switch assembly. Reattach two small screws that attach the switch to the... Stumbled upon Appliance Parts Pros web site and after some research bought 2 circuit boards. (UIB) Interface Board AP4501702 and ESEC Relay Board AP5780950. I carefully replaced the UIB board first and it solved the problem. Things like taking the door off can be found on the internet and took me far more time than actually replacing the board. I have never used APP before but understand that the other board is returnable. I am a very happy and future customer. Read more

Symptoms varied: oven not starting; oven preheats OK but after you open the door to put in food and close it, the oven showed temp OK, didn't turn on, and heat would drop to nothing over time; other times, it would begin preheating then start beeping and showing the temperature setting, then an 'ERR' and die. Found online how to test for issue removed upper back panel with nut driver tested heating elements, temp sensor and controller came down to controller for oven, ordered part standard delivery was at my home in a day and a half WOW, unplugged from wall removed all electrical connectors to controller 4 screws then removed the touch pad from the old controller reinstalled pad on new controller then reinstalled controller and back panel plugged back in to wall.
