The Oven Sensor Assembly is an OEM part for GE ovens. This part monitors the oven's internal temperature, ensuring it matches the set temperature on the oven's controls. By accurately measuring the heat inside the oven, the sensor assembly communicates with the oven's control system to adjust the temperature accordingly.
Over time, the oven sensor can become faulty due to wear or damage, leading to inaccurate temperature readings. This can manifest as unevenly cooked food, longer cooking times, or an oven that fails to reach the desired temperature setting.
Symptoms of a bad Oven Sensor Assembly include:
- The oven temperature is inconsistent with the setting
- Food is not cooking evenly or as expected
- The oven fails to heat to the set temperature
- Error codes appearing on the oven display related to temperature regulation
This OEM GE part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
This part fixes the following symptoms
-

The Support Bracket is an OEM part for GE ovens, designed to provide stability and support for the broiling element. This bracket is essential for ensuring the broiling element is securely positioned at the top of the oven, allowing for even heat distribution and optimal cooking performance when broiling foods.
Causes of damage to the support bracket often involve high heat exposure, accidental impacts during cleaning or cooking, or general wear and tear over time.
Symptoms of a bad Support Bracket include:
- The broiling element hanging lower than usual or touching the oven cavity, which can affect cooking performance and potentially damage the oven's interior.
- Unstable or loose broiling element, leading to uneven cooking or broiling.
- Visible signs of wear, damage, or corrosion on the bracket itself, indicating it may no longer provide adequate support.
This OEM GE part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.

Symptoms of a bad Oven Light Lens include:
- Diminished light output, making it hard to see inside the oven
- Cracks or damage to the lens itself
- Discoloration or cloudiness that cannot be cleaned off
- The lens becoming loose or falling off

I changed the motherboard - computer and also changed the motor in the freezer, because it was doing a howling sound every time it turned on. The repair technician asked for $500 for a repair and that is on top of the $230 I paid him two days before. I looked up the parts and decided to try myself and it paid off. Great instructional videos. Thanks

Door latch froze halfway between cleaning lock and open would not close or open Craig M. • Carmel , IN • November 14, 2014
Worked with phone person at AppliancePartsPros and determined problem could be either the latch motor or the circuit board.
Ordered parts for both the latch motor and the control circuit board. Since a relay on the board was clicking and the motor would not budge, I installed them both and oven is working again!!
Presumably because of the number of warehouses, I ordered the parts on Sunday and they arrived Tuesday morning.
Great help! Great speed! Perfect matches on the parts!!

This is a replacement screw that can be used with many different types of household appliances. Screws fasten various pieces of machines together. They can also help to reduce the amount of vibration in the machine. If a screw is missing or damaged, it could cause a machine to stop working properly, or to vibrate more than it should. The screws are made from metal and will typically last for a long time. However, the threads and other parts of the screw can wear down with use. The screws could also become lost when making other repairs to the appliance. Replacement of the screws is generally easy, but it will depend on where it is placed. This item can replace certain screws found in various models of ranges, ovens, dryers, and microwaves from General Electric, Hotpoint, Whirlpool, and Kenmore. This is a genuine OEM replacement part sourced from the manufacturer. It is sold individually. Owners may want to have several replacements on hand in case they need them.
