Bought a used Frigidaire 36 inch stove. The broiler didn't come on but the burners lit and the stove worked so I made do for about 4 or 5 years with that. Spoke to a parts pro and told them of the problem. there were 2 possibilieies from the explanation of what the parts do. onw could have been the Range oven igniter. that wasn't it beaacause the over was lighting fine. by process of illimination it was the Oven Sensor Assembly. Read more

Replaced the blown heating element. I also only to be on the safe side, replaced the over temp sensor. I checked it with the meter when I pulled it out and it was ok. Tested ok. Thank you very much for the less than 2 day delivery on the part. Read more

After doing some research the problem appeared to be the door safety switches. I ordered 3 new ones to replace all the original ones. Some minor disassembly of the microwave front was required to reach the fuse and switches. To reach the switches the control panel wires needed to be unplugged and the panel removed. The F9 error code is supposed to indicate that the door lock mechanism has failed. My oven would give the F9 code and turn off during normal baking at 400 F after about 30-40 minutes. We live in a very rural area and were not able to get ANYONE to service it - had 2 companies come out to inspect but they never returned. I have wonderful news!
