Old glass was already disposed of..I removed two screws from inside door side that released handle..new glass has obvious shiny side and a bit duller side..shiny side placed looking at you ..glass sets in a metal channel then lines up with door handle holes..HOLD on to glass until handle attached..line up handle with screw holes and re attach handle..DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN SCREWS..just snug..It's how I broke original glass over tightening.Be careful if old glass still present this stuff just... I lifted up the door and removed it. Next, I laid out newspaper on the floor. I placed the door on the newspaper upside down. With my socket driver, I removed the bottom door trim. I then used a pocket knife to remove the remaining glass in the top groove. I then slid in the new glass and reinstalled the trim. I ordered a Window Pac and a new oven door seal for this project. Our oven is 25+ years old and still works...I wasn't sure how easy or hard this would be, so initially I delayed ordering these parts for three weeks!
