I suspected the 'circulation pump' to be the culprit. I could not find a 'circulation pump' so I deduced via the picture schematics it must be the 'casing assembly, pump' I found on the website. I have heard there have been issues with the 'drain pump' so I also ordered the 'case assembly' on this site which is an odd name for the drain pump. Thanks to LG NOT sending the parts THEY say are included with the dishwasher, I had to buy them in order to install the appliance. I sure hope the LG appliance performs better than their customer service. Very simple fix....bought the EXACT items needed from AppliancePartsPros.com and in just a matter of two days, had the parts needed. Amazing! Excellent experience. I looked up my unit and reviewed the schematic drawing online at Appliance Parts Pro. Once receiving the parts, I Pulled out the dishwasher and removed side panels - didn't even have to disconnect anything. Removed broken parts and replaced them with the new - took about 10-15 minutes start to finish. Easy cheesy! Owning LG appliances I'm thankful to have found a resource like Appliance Parts Pro! I bought a new controller first and installed it. The exact replacement controller was no longer available and I had to modify two AC connectors that changed from 3 pins with two wires to two pins with two wires. This was not expected but I made it work just fine by getting the three pin connectors on the cable to fit the two pin by breaking out the center web in the board two pin and then shaving off the raised key plastic on the wires.
