Tom Z Mahwah , NJ July 23, 2015 Appliance: Model WM3360HWCA The drum on the spin cycle made very loud noises and it sounded like a broken suspension spring I removed the top cover and found the left main suspension spring broken. Appliance Part Pros had the new springs (2 I replaced both) at my door in 26 hours. Excellent service from this company. After disassembling the drum from the chassis of the machine, it was very easy to replace the springs. i do wish however that I had purchased a higher quality machine. LG refused to do anything to help and the machine is only 3 years old and gets minimal use. Hats off however to Appliance Parts Pros. You have earned your name. Matthew R Simpsonville , SC March 07, 2018 The spring that holds the washer drum broke The washing machine seal was pushed forward and looked like the drum had fallen. I opened the cover with a screwdriver (only had to remove 4 screws) and it was clear that one of the two springs that holds the washer drum in place was broken. Ordered the spring. When it got it, we lifted the drum and Replaced the spring. It was a 30-second fix. Put the cover back on and it works great. Anne M Saint Louis , MO November 26, 2024 Appliance: Kenmore Washer 79641182311 Discovered a broken spring during a different repair! My washer had leaked all over, and when I opened it I found the gasket ring totally wonky. Fast forward to me in the middle of the gasket fix, and I discovered that a spring had broken! Using the linked video, this was a very simple and straightforward repair. However....if you have a spring that broke, please check all around the drum to be sure none of the hydraulic arms were damaged when the drum fell, and all hoses are still attached! Tatiana G Escondido , CA November 02, 2021 Appliance: Model 405PNBM4H469 LG washer spring broke and damaged the shock.. Our LG front loading washing machine spring broke, which then damaged the shock directly beneath it. The model parts blowout was helpful in determining the parts we needed, and the videos were easy to follow and helped us replace the parts will little issue; they saved us nearly $200 on labor. As one spring failed on our 10 yr old model, we opted to replace both springs and all 3 shocks, treated the boot with conditioner, and put it all back together. Thank you for the videos and online info! Marc W Baldwin , NY March 07, 2021 Appliance: Model WM3470HWA FRONT LOAD LG WASHING MACHINE Very bad vibration on spin cycle then finally stopped spinning. Replaced the 3 Shock Absorbers and Suspension Springs. Rear shock shaft to the body very loose. and right shock and suspension spring (While facing the front of the machine) were also weak. Followed the video and it was just like it showed. Except for the left front shock. They don't show doing that one in the video. So a word of advice, due to the hoses and filter box. You really have a tight area to work in. I used a short 12mm wrench. To remove the lower and upper pins. Plus a shorter pair of channel locks to hold the pin on removal. Other than that the right side and rear shocks were no problem. Plus the suspension springs were in and out with no problems. Have a strong piece of rope. Used a piece of clothesline that I had lying around. Also, service with the company was 5 star, answering my questions by instant message. Plus getting my parts delivered by the distributor faster than I expected. When the parts came only one pin for each shock was in the package. Sent an IM was asked for pictures and sent it by e-mail. Had what I needed the next day. All around a good experience. The washing machine has a normal vibration when starting to spin. But quickly balances out. Not walking across the floor.
