My project involved replacing the sump assembly and main motor on my LG dishwasher.
The parts arrive in about 2-3 days. Wow, FAST! With the help of videos from LG I knew what to do. The trick with the whole project was ensuring that I transferred ALL gaskets from the old sump assembly to the new one. I missed transferring one around a sensor, then did not get the gasket around the pump motor properly. Once all those were correct all leaks stopped, new motor is whisper quiet (all I hear now is the swoosh of the washer arms). I am a happy camper again.
My project would have taken me about an hour, but due to my mistakes it took me seven.
