This light transformer (20VA) steps down incoming voltage for the appliance's light circuit. Replace a failing transformer to restore dependable illumination so you can monitor cooking progress and see clearly when cleaning.
- Steps down line voltage to the lower voltage used by the light circuit
- Supports consistent, reliable interior lighting
- A failed transformer can leave the light inoperative even with a good bulb
- Intermittent operation or flickering can indicate a weakening transformer
What's included: 1 transformer Install notes:
- Disconnect power at the breaker or unplug the unit before servicing
- Access and mounting location vary by model; note wiring and orientation before removal
- Move wires one at a time to the matching terminals/leads on the new transformer
- Secure the transformer and route wiring away from hot or moving parts; test light operation before reassembly

Double oven would not work correctly/runaway high temp cycle (control board problem) also oven lights would not come on. David S. • Hartwell , GA • June 19, 2023
Studied schematics and watched many on-line videos. Did some electrical checks with VOM (Volt/Ohm Meter). Determined that control panel thermal fuse attached to back of control panel had opened due to high temp. Determined that the upper oven thermal fuse on back of oven had opened due to high temp. Determined that transformer that supplies power to lights was bad (open primary).
Removed control panel circuit board and had it repaired/verified good. Faulty control panel was the reason that oven...
