Started with checking temp control in the oven. Worked fine. Next was testing high limiter switch. Every place stated switch was on the back panel, found mine place under the right burner cartridge. Took some finagling to expose it. Bought a new one, two wires to disconnect along with two small screws to secure switch, slapped it in and I was in business. I removed the oven back and I verified conductivity of the boiler element with an ohm meter. I then checked for a loose connection on the switch. The switch lead on one side was loose in the body of the switch. I replaced the limit switch and the broiler now works. Replacing the switch is simple but you may need to open the wire connecting lug as you want it to fit snugly but not force it on as this switch seems a little flimsy. Read more
