It's best to have spare O-ring gaskets on hand to rebuild a carburetor when the need arises. Use this manufacturer-approved replacement part to complete the process. When outdoor power equipment shuts off just after starting or won't start altogether, there may be a problem with the carburetor. It could be a leak that causes compression problems keeping the machine's engine from starting. Gasoline may drip from the float bowl because of an O-ring that won't seal or seat evenly all around, or one that has become brittle over time. This is a genuine OEM part compatible with specific lawnmowers, snowblowers, wood chippers, log splitters, tillers, and other garden maintenance machines from Craftsman, MTD, Cub Cadet, MasterCut, Troy-Bilt, and Yard Machines. It is sold individually.

Fuel filters are created to strain out gas before it reaches the carburetor in lawnmowers and other gardening tools. Located in the fuel line or the fuel tank, it prevents unwanted debris from reaching the carburetor, which can cause engine damage. If the fuel filter is damaged or becomes clogged with material, it no longer offers the same protection to the carburetor. This can lead to difficulty starting the lawnmower and decreased performance. Correcting this issue early can prevent damage that might require a new lawnmower. Maintenance of the lawnmower by adding fuel stabilizer, changing the oil, and replacing the air filter will increase the life of lawn care equioment. Even if no issues are present, the fuel filter should be replaced after about 200 hours of use. Disconnecting the spark plug should be done prior to installing a new fuel filter. This fuel filter is a genuine OEM component directly from the manufacturer and comes as an individual part. It can be used with various Craftsman, Cub Cadet, Murray, Yard Machines, MTD, Huskee, Bolens, Yard-Man, and Mastercut lawnmowers, tillers, blowers, and wood chippers.
