Captures grease, smoke, and odors from cooking to maintain clean kitchen air. Replace when clogged or discolored despite cleaning. Confirm fit with your model.
I bought a house that had an old (but serviceable) Kenmore microwave over the stove. When I cooked on the stove the poor microwave filters couldn't do their job and the whole house got stunk out.. I drove to Sears who didn't stock them. I went online to Sears.com and they didn't stock them either. Then I found AppliancePartsPros.com and they had everything really cheap!! I ordered them and immediately replaced the grease filters with no tools. I looked at the schematic drawing for the... Read more

Needed installation parts. I ordered the parts from the company I purchased the appliances from. A week went by and no parts, called, emailed and called again to find out when the parts would arrive to be able to Re-schedule the installation. After the run around, I found AppliancePartsPros website and placed my order with them. I received the parts I needed within the time they promised. I was able to schedule my installation to enjoy my new appliance. It's been almost 4 weeks and still no... Read more

The Time Delay Fuse is an OEM part for LG microwaves. This fuse provides a safety mechanism by delaying the flow of electricity, protecting the microwave's electrical components from power surges and ensuring the appliance operates safely. It helps to prevent immediate damage in the event of a power surge or electrical fault, thus prolonging the lifespan of the microwave.
Over time, the time delay fuse can become damaged due to electrical surges, wear and tear, or faulty connections. If the fuse blows, it can disrupt the microwave’s ability to function correctly.
Symptoms of a bad time delay fuse include:
This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore models.

Knowing the odds of 2 failures occurring at the same exact time was unusually high, I just searched your site for what other broken items might affect these two failures. Came up with next control item upstream and tallied that item failure with percentages of successful repairs, (4 mins.) door safety switch. Since I had to change out the most likely of the 3 and since I was already was going to be into the switch panel I ordered all 3 and swapped them all out to cover my butt, as they were... Read more
This is a micro switch that detects whether the microwave door is properly closed and latched. It is part of the safety interlock system that prevents the microwave from operating with the door open. Replace this switch if the microwave does not start when the door is shut, runs with the door open, blows a fuse when the door closes, or stops mid-cycle intermittently.
Replaces a cracked, chipped, or broken glass turntable tray inside your microwave cavity. Typically damaged during cleaning or accidental impacts.
Pretty easy fix. Took out 7-8 screws to remove cover for access to light. 2 were security type screws so I had to run to the hardware store to buy a special screwdriver. One screw to remove the bulb. Read more
Fix a microwave that won't heat with a new magnetron. This part generates the microwave energy needed for cooking. Moderate DIY repair, 1-2 hours.
LG Help-line said probably a failed magnetron, but since out of warranty, referred me to an authorized LG repair service. They wanted $79.95 service call to come out & diagnose problem. I ordered replacement magnetron for less than cost of a service call, Plus the part was delivered next day! Works like new again. Happy wife = happy life! Notes for DYI-ers: 1.Be careful removing over the stove microwaves--get help, they are heavier than you think. 2.Unplug microwave for 48 hrs, carefully... Read more
Protective shield that covers internal components on the microwave door. Replace if cracked, broken, or tabs have snapped off during handle or latch repair.
Careful placement of new screws into the inside of the outer door that now hold the frame assembly to the door secured the frame assembly to the outer door. All of the other parts I bought and replaced were a waste of money. I figured since I had them I might as well install them anyways. Easier than sending them back since I had the whole thing apart anyways. The part I really needed was no longer available, the outside door. The glass reinstalled into the retainers in the door without a... Read more
Microwave won't heat or makes loud buzzing noise? The diode regulates magnetron current flow. Simple repair—test with multimeter for continuity.
I have a multimeter so I was able to check the fuse per website recommendations and it was blown. However, the capacitor on the microwave was also original so I elected to replace the capacitor, fuse, and the ground protect diode. The repair was very simple (making sure the capacitor was discharged before replacing) and the microwave is now up and running again. Excellent trade to buy $40 worth of parts rather than a new $400 microwave. One nit - Kenmore puts a screw in the back that... Read more
