Noisy bearings Gerald D. • Belle Vernon , PA • October 18, 2014
Repair went fairly smoothly by following the EXCELLENT how-to video provided. I had only a few issues and suggestions. 1. Because many of the screws and fasteners are of multiple sizes, I would recommend laying them out in a muffin tray or on a paper with labels for where they go back. 2. After removing the weights and prepping to remove the shock absorbers, after the front ones were removed, the tub tilted so far the rear shock absorber separated. The friction pads fell out. It was easy...

The Clamp is an OEM part for LG washing machines. It is used to secure the hose connections within the washer, ensuring that water flows correctly without leaks.
Over time, the clamp can become worn or damaged due to repeated exposure to water, vibration, or general wear and tear. If the clamp fails, it can lead to water leaks or hoses becoming detached.
Symptoms of a bad clamp include:
- Water leaking from hose connections
- Hoses coming loose or detaching during operation
- Visible rust or damage on the clamp
- Poor water flow or pressure issues
This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore models.

Bad bearings seal and spider David R. • Jacksonville , FL • February 04, 2017
If your LG Front load washers sounds like a freight train, STOP USING IT. You're doing more damage and will need more parts to fix it.
After the noise became unbearable, I began to explore and disassemble. I knew enough to know the bearings must be bad but had never done this repair before. ( I am however pretty mechanically inclined.)
Watch this video before you start tearing your LG apart. APP did a great job explaining the steps of the repair. Do a search on this site or youtube.com with...

Worn out bearings Linda B. • San Diego , CA • November 23, 2015
After watching the video carefully and taking notes for step-by-step dismantling of the LG washer, I took it apart methodically placing each item on a table in the order removed. I was able to remove and replace the bearings with no problems following the tips and tricks. The spider did not seem to be in bad shape but since I had a new one, it seemed reasonable to replace it as well, but it was difficult to extract the old one from the drum. The bolts are assembled with weld glue, so it is a...

Lg washer bearings failing (loud spin cycle) Mike D. • Ninety Six , SC • March 31, 2026
Replaced the failing bearings and seal to eliminate loud noise during spin cycle. First the positive feedback regarding the video provided saved time and efforts and was VERY helpful. I called customer services to review the parts I was ordering. I was provided the wrong information and back bearing for the drum. Reordered the correct one which came quickly and was supplied RMA for refund with correct bearing. It took several weeks to issue a notice of refund and will take longer to be posted...

This rotor position sensor (Hall sensor) tracks the direct-drive motor's rotor position and speed so the control can commutate the washer motor accurately. Replacing a failed sensor can restore proper wash/agitate and spin performance. What it does:
- Detects rotor position and speed from the stator assembly
- Sends timing feedback to the control for correct motor start, direction, and speed
- Supports smooth agitation and spin ramp-up/ramp-down
- Failure may cause: no spin or agitation, cycle stalling/pausing, or an LE motor error code
What's included:
- 1 rotor position sensor assembly
Install notes:
- Unplug the washer and shut off water; wear protective gloves
- Access the motor at the rear of the tub; remove the back panel if needed
- Remove the rotor and stator; support the stator to protect wiring, then unclip/unscrew and replace the sensor
- Align the sensor correctly and seat the connector fully before reassembly and testing
