Stuck on 1 minute moldy and white film on dishes. Ben W. • Vienna , VA • January 01, 2018
On my Bosch she55m15uc/64, the cycle would take 3-4 hours, with the machine stuck on "1 minute" for a long time. The interior was getting moldy and smelly, and the dishes had a white film. At first, I thought it was the heater relay on the control board, but I pulled that relay and it seemed to be working. I could get an ohmmeter on the heater element without taking the bottom off the dishwasher, and the resistance was infinite. Replacing the heater did the trick.
On my unit there was a...

Fix a dishwasher that won't spray water or makes humming sounds. This circulation pump and motor assembly repair is lengthy but not difficult.
Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You
Dishwasher made a humming sound and no water sprayed James B. • Great Falls , VA • August 30, 2019
Dishwasher made a humming sound but no water was circulating around. Searching around, I decided that it was either the inlet valve or the pump/impeller. I started with the inlet valve since it’s an easier repair. It didn’t work, no problem, now I have a spare. I then changed the pump and motor assembly. When I got the old one out, the impeller was broken along with a crack in the plastic housing. The repair took about 3 hours following along with the video. The dishwasher now works like...

- Odd knocking or buzzing noises from inside cabinets
- Detached or misaligned door panels
- Water leaks developing between internal seams
- Components unable to be fully secured down during repairs
This screw type is additionally suited for Thermador, Gaggenau as well as some premium Kenmore dishwashers.

Missing mounting bracket after kitchen remodel. Daniel W. • Alexandria , VA • November 23, 2018
Somehow one of the mounting brackets disappeared after I had the cabinets and counter replaced, but these were a perfect replacement. They don't stick out as wide as the original brackets, but I think these are a better design. Also, the I found the original brackets online, but they were way overpriced, so i was glad to find these.

Used vids on youtube for steps on how to disassemble and install the pump; search "Bosch dishwasher circulation pump replacement". Also on AppliancePartsPro forums, a poster put up the Bosch "Dishwasher Service Training Manual" in .pdf. Search "Bosch dishwasher low pressure" on the forum. It's one of the post with the longest thread.
Six pointers.

Missing base panel. Cheryl R. • Red Wing , MN • August 12, 2020
We just bought an older home, and the Bosch dishwasher was missing the base panel. Found the model number inside the appliance, and found the part online. We needed a white base panel, but weren't sure if it would fit (based on the model #), so we ordered both white and black panels, thinking at least the black one would fit. THEY ARE THE SAME PANEL, ONLY DIFFERENT COLORS. Very happy that the white base panel fit like a glove. Shipping was super fast too. ?

The machine would not enter the wash cycle or would try John D. • Tewskbury , MA • April 20, 2018
Hearing a metal on metal noise and not actually circulate water cancelling cycle worked fine After some web research, I concluded it was highly likely to be the circulation pump, so I watched the video on AppliancePartPros.com and realized it was a lengthy repair (a lot of steps) but not technically difficult. I simply played and paused the video at each step and duplicated the steps.
The biggest things to take note of:
1) take good pictures of the wiring to use when you re-connect.
2) Wear...

Bosch shv4304 water leaking into base and drain pump running constantly Jonathan F. • Highland , NY • February 05, 2018
I replaced the gaskets with products from this site which I would not have been able to do without the video on this site. Hard job. The leak was still there though, so I have some hints with this kind of washer. 1) There is a float switch on the base that turns on the drain pump when there is a leak, that is why the drain pump runs constantly, it prevents catastrophic flooding in many cases. The float consists of a little styrofoam donut that lifts an arm, all white. The arm is connected to a...
