Wouldn't spin Douglas M. • Forsyth , MO • October 27, 2015
I watched a few on line videos. Found 2 easy things to check. The motor coupler then the clutch. It took me about 30 minutes to get everything apart and find out which problem it was. Went on line to Appliance Pros.com and ordered the new clutch. It came in 2 days. Took less than 30 minutes to get it on and get everything back together. It was awesome.

No spin every thing else worked made high speed ticking noise Anthony D. • Follansbee , WV • May 12, 2015
First I looked at the many you tube vids, and there are many. appliance parts pros pretty much shows you how to deal with the parts. I changed the brake shoes and the clutch assembly which also comes with the driver cam. I also changed the metal brake operating cam. I think that brake lockup or improper brake release was the problem that broke the plastic cam driver. This was the broken plastic part making all the ticking noise. I first changed the coupling on the motor but that wasn't bad. in...

Tub out of alignment violent wobbling during spin cycle Stephani W. • Folsom , CA • January 29, 2018
When I removed the cabinet, all of the springs appeared in tact, I had already replaced the counter balance spring so I knew that was not the issue. None of the suspension springs or brackets were broken but they did look worn/rusty so I replaced all of the brackets (2 in front and 1 large in back), all of the suspension spring retainers, and all of the suspension springs and it fixed the issue! I plan to also replace the Self leveling leg spring which is an easy fix since it's on the back of...

Leak (found to be tub seal) and extreme spin vibration. Paul H. • Lakewood , CA • June 26, 2021
First, DO NOT call Sears for parts, their call center knows nothing about the product. App-Pros are the best for help and the right parts. I figured to repair, replace all seals and any item that shows need to and all items that have to do with the spin that may be bad. Repair videos great help. I will start from the "bottom" up, the repairs were not done in this order, just a list of what I did and notes. Replaced-- motor drive coupling, (checked out transmission ok), thrust washer,...

Replaced clutch assembly, gearcase input shaft seal and motor coupler. When I disassembled the washer I realized the shaft seal on the top of the gearcase was leaking and not the input shaft seal. So had to order more parts before I could finish this job. Altogether I replaced agitator dogs, both seals on the gearcase, the clutch assembly and the motor coupler.
Agitator dogs replacement is a very easy job, no tools required, takes less that 5 minutes and made a huge difference with how well...

The parts I purchased from Appliance Parts Pro fit perfectly and were reasonably priced. I received them the next day, which made the Wife (and me) very happy. Although Appliance Parts Pro did not have a repair video for this, I was able to find one online and the machine is washing like new again. My washing machine smelt horrible Bryan W. • Ogdensburg , NY • August 20, 2018
First off I have to say that Appliance Parts Pro's saved me from hiring a repair person, and quite possibly just getting rid of my washing machine. Their video's helped out SOOOOOOOO much and the advice one of their agents gave me over their online chat helped me trouble shoot something when I got stuck. On top of this they shipped my parts fast enough that less than 12 hrs later they arrived, which allowed me to get my machine up and running way faster than the other options I had available....

Leaking blackened water. Devin R. • Clayton , NC • May 04, 2021
We initially thought the issue was the gasket at the base of the tub, but that ended up being okay. We replaced it just in case. In order to even get the agitator off, we had to drill through the agitator bolt. The thing had completely rusted through. inside that basket drive rod we could see that the seals were in poor shape, and the liquid sprayed at the top of the shaft was getting through. We assume this was how the water was getting dirty. We replaced both shaft seals (which meant also...

Replaced transmission (that was the problem) and clutch (if you're going to tear it down put in a new clutch - they're cheap). APPRO's video was a big help. Everything went as they showed except transmission does not just slide out. You have to work it in and out several times. Once it breaks free it will slip out. This was my first transmission. It was not nearly as hard as I had thought it would be.
