Previous tenants damaged the refrigerator by ripping the gaskets out and breaking the glass shelf over the veggie-drawers. I tend to replace things instead of fixing them, but AppliancePartsPros made it so easy to find parts. The gaskets and glass were specific to my make and model. Easy to install and worked perfectly. Looked up possible causes on line and found video about trouble shooting. It said to check starter cap and run relay on side of compressor.
Removed both and found both were bad .ordered replacements on line from appliancePartspros.com.
Installed new parts and is working properly. This repair job was on a 2012 Frigidaire refrig.
You would think a refrig. Would last longer than 4 years. The original parts and the replacement parts were light weight and cheaply made.
