Damaged refrigerator door seals. Ralph A. • Sanford , FL • July 31, 2017
Ordered replacement door seals, assistance picking the seals and speed of shipping was excellent. The installation was about as easy a job as can be, remove old seals, clean the doors and press in the new seals. With that said, I don't believe these are the same quality as factory original seals, the doors do not close as positive as the original and I have an air leak in the freezer door seal allowing condensation and ice to form.

Drawer slide spring had broken needed to replace slide Sima H. • Great Neck , NY • November 23, 2016
There are videos on You Tube,. After removing the bottom basket, you remove the entire drawer including the door together with it, by using a screwdriver to depress the white clip on each drawer slide which releases the slide from body of the freezer.
Once you pull our the entire drawer, you will need to drill out a rivet to remove the old slide. You will need a rivet gun to attach the new slide.

The Ice Mold is an OEM part for Whirlpool refrigerators. This component forms the ice cubes in the icemaker, shaping the water into cubes as it freezes. The ice mold is crucial for the efficient production of ice, ensuring that each cube is properly formed and easily released into the ice bucket.
You should replace the ice mold if it shows signs of wear or damage. Causes of a bad ice mold can include mineral buildup from hard water, physical damage to the mold surface, or malfunctioning heating elements that prevent ice from releasing properly.
Symptoms of a bad Ice Mold include:
- Ice cubes not forming correctly or being irregular in shape
- Ice cubes sticking to the mold and not dispensing
- The icemaker not producing ice at all
- Leaks around the icemaker area
This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

Ice forming in the ice cube bin Bill J. • Scottsdale , AZ • December 13, 2014
I have a Whirlpool Side-by-side Model ED22PWXBW01. A year ago, the ice cubes started freezing together in the rear of the ice bin for no apparent reason. Although the problem started off small, it gradually grew much worse, and finally I could see water dripping out of the ice mold and into the bin during the fill cycle. Re-levelling the refrig didn’t help, nor did adjusting the cube size / fill level.
With guidance from the video, I removed the icemaker from the wall of the freezer. The...

The drip pan had basically disintegrated in the 6 years i've had the kitchenaid refrigerator Robert M. • Glenside , PA • November 06, 2015
Had to take the back cover off. It was very tight to remove the fan that sat in the drip pan but did get it off, was able to apply the same level of cursing and got the new pan installed, installing the drain tube was a breeze. Found the parts price very reasonable. Hoping the Whirlpool redesigned the pan so I won't have to do it ever again. I was surprised at how bad the quality of their original part was. Probably saved myself $150.00 on buying the part and doing it myself

The Roller Assembly is an OEM part for Whirlpool refrigerators. It contains heavy-duty ball bearing rollers located along the bottom front-right cabinet. Repeatedly maneuvering fully-loaded refrigerators can cause cabinet rollers to crack or bearing races to deteriorate over extended use.
Potential failure causes include structural cracks from strong impacts or bearing lubrication washing away from repeated wet cleaning.
Symptoms of faulty cabinet rollers include:
- Resistance or grinding noises when tilting the refrigerator
- Visible bearing marks wearing into roller housing
- Potential for cabinet walls or flooring damage without smooth motion
This is a genuine Whirlpool OEM replacement, this part is also compatible with Maytag, Jenn-Air and some KitchenAid models.

I called Sears to schedule a service call for Sat. Morning. At 11:00 a.m. A service man called and said he was going to do the service call (the original tech was going to be delayed), so he had been scheduled instead. He had another call before he could get to me (an hour drive one way

Water dispenser made a lot of noise Pablo C. • Apex , NC • November 23, 2015
Water dispenser came down to a trickle and made a lot of noise, I changed the filter but it didnt help and thus the water tank/head assembly needed to be replaced.
Replacing the water Tank/head assembly was an easy task, the hardest part is removing the covers and taking care of not breaking the insulation of the water inlet hose.
For the not-so-experts like me it is also good to rememebr to have a bucket to collect all the water that comes out after the connection to the solenoid valves is...

Refridgerator & freezer completely warm clicking sound from compressor Rick R. • North Fort Myers , FL • June 21, 2017
I went to appliancepartspros.com and described the symptoms which led to replacing the capacitor. The part arrived the next day!!! Unfortunately the clicking and warmness remained. I went to the online chat and Mandie recommended the relay which was next in the chain before the dreaded compressor. Once again the part arrived the next morning! I snapped it in and I was back in business, 90 dollars total in the two parts. No service call with the standard "it's the compressor" diagnosis. ...

Water leaking from freezer James K. • Irvine , CA • June 09, 2018
First, I had to replace a cracked roller so I could roll the frig out. I did this by tilting it slightly and shoving a shim underneath. I had to use two shims to get enough clearance for the wheel. I unscrewed the old wheel, screwed in the new one pretty easy, removed the shims and rolled it out.
Then I unplugged the frig from the power socket, removed 6 screws from the back panel, and pulled out the old drain kit, which had become clogged with dirt and dust. I put in the new drain kit,...
